Services
Neck and back
For adults who come with tension or discomfort in the neck or back. The doctor examines you, explains what they find and suggests a plan.
Many people come after a lot of driving, after lifting something heavy or after an accident. You do not need to know what happened: the exam starts by listening to you.

What to expect
What a visit includes
A conversation and an exam of the neck, the back and how you move. After that, depending on what is found, an adjustment, exercises or soft tissue work.
An explanation of what was found
Your options, one by one
X-rays only if they are medically necessary
How long and how often
A visit takes as long as the exam and the care need. The doctor suggests a plan after the exam and changes it with you as you go. We do not promise a number of visits.
What we do not claim
We do not promise results, and results vary. We do not say what causes your discomfort before the exam, or that the care treats a disease.
Risks
Soreness in the area after an adjustment is common and usually short. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so the doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no.
Through your insurance, if it applies, or on your own. Either way you get an itemized receipt and, if you do not use insurance, a written estimate before we start.
Questions about this care
Should I see a physician first?
If you have sudden severe pain or any warning sign, yes: call 911 or go to an emergency room. If not, the doctor tells you after the exam whether it makes sense for another provider to see you.
Can I come without knowing what is wrong?
Yes. Tell us what you notice and since when. The exam is for that, and we explain what we find in plain words.
Will you take x-rays?
Only when they are medically necessary. If the doctor recommends them, they explain why, and you decide.
When you decide, come and meet us
- A sudden severe headache or neck pain, dizziness, trouble speaking or seeing, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or saddle area (between the legs and buttocks), or new bladder or bowel trouble needs emergency care now. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.
